Necromunda has really been on my brain as of late. I played back when the original box edition came out and had a lot of fun with it and a couple of friends. I've started going over the new version of the official rules and I'm extremely puzzled by the Cawdor weapons list. No hand-to-hand weapons? Really? That's what Cawdor is about. Why can every Cawdor ganger get a boltgun? What is a Cawdor player supposed to do, arm everyone with pistols only?

Don't use the gak GW put online. You can:

1) Play by the original rules, if you lost the books you can find scans online
2) Use Necromunda Community Edition which is a rewrite of the new rules that fixes most issues.
3) Use an expansion such as my own Gangs of Nu Ork (light-hearted) or Ancientsociety's Inquisimunda (grimdark).

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
