I am curious what other people think about "summoning". As it says per deep strike rules does that them mean you have to roll to scatter? or does the model simply get placed where you want it?

Unfortunately, the unit / vehicle will scatter as per DS rules. The power will place it within 6" of the Libby and then scatter.

Thats what i was kinda thinking my self. Seem's pretty dangerous thats pretty close to models. So i guess next question does Teleport homer work on vehicles that have warp stab.?

The GK Teleport Homer only works for a few specific units and only when they arrive via teleport. Since Summoning is not a teleport, and vehicles are not of the list of units that can benefit from a Teleport Homer even if it could be used, the answer is no.

Teleport homers work for summoning as you remove models from the table and then place them next to the libby. It only works on GKSS, GKI, and termie armor dudes, but it still works. The whole "teleporting" argument is kinda moot. It never says anywhere out side of fluff that GKSS come in via teleport. Summoning says it creates a warp bridge. Teleporting is quick travel through the warp. If we're using fluff = RAW (which you have to do to assume GKSS use teleport homers) then teleport homers work for summoning.

If I remember correctly, Grey Knight Teleport Homers explicitly say that they work for Strike Squads.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

From page 62 of Codex Grey Knights:
Note that the teleport homer only works for units that are teleporting, not other means.
So while teleporting and The Summoning psychic power both use the deep strike rules, the teleport homer will not work in conjunction with The Summoning.

Not only does The Summoning not use teleport, but the Teleport Homer excludes Nemesis DreadKnights as while as vehicles, and only includes units in TDA as well as GKSS and GKIS. That's it. The GK Teleport Homer is not the same as the SM Homing Beacon; if it was, then The Summoning would actually work with it.

Vehicles with the warp stabilization upgrade can be summoned the argument now about teleporter homers working on summoning or not is quite vague, since both enter play using deep strike rules.

It's not vague. Nowhere in the Deep Strike rules does it say that you are always teleporting if you use those rules. You are only teleporting if the rules and\or the fluff says you are. Since The Summoning never once uses any form of the word 'teleport' then you're not teleporting.

AS above.
It really isnt vague, at all. Thats why GK SR cannot buy beacons, they can only buy teleport homers. ITs called balance.
