The kraken on fenris are a problem (swallowin populations hole) but why dont they just shoot them from orbit
or do the space wolves care more about being tough then their worlds population.

I'm pretty sure Kraken arent big enough to swallow entire populations.

Also, the Space Wolves generally don't interfere with the Fenrisian tribes' way of life other than for recruiting purposes. So, y'know. They wouldnt bother trying to kill Kraken unless a Space Wolf happened to be hunting one for his own purposes.

To the Fenrisian's Kraken are a source of food, a mythological creature, and a rite of passage in some tribes (i.e. hunt one by sailing into a storm with just a spear and wooden ship, ect).

The space wolves themselves could deal with them, but then as Somecallmejack said, the wouldnt interfere with the Tribes way of life unless it was crucial.

You are using a more Earth definition of the word care, the Space Wolves care deeply about the Fenrisian Population and as part of that they want them to be as strong as possible to:

a - survive on a death world
b - to maintain a strong population for recruiting

And as already said Krakens don't devour entire population groups

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

The Kraken aren't as much of a problem as the planet itself is...
Downright lethal so it is.
