HQ
- Shas'el with AFP,Plasma,MT-95 pts
Body Guard with Plasma,TL Flamer-66 pts
- XV9 forgeworld Commander R’alai- 225 pts (although my buddies usually allow me to drop those pointless markerlight drones, which make all around toughness a 3. this would allow him to be 165 pts, due to the 30 pts per markerlight drone.
Elite
- XV8 Squad 3 strong. all with TL Plasma- 165 pts
- XV8 Squad 3 strong. all with Plasma, MT, Missle pod- 186 pts
- stealth suit squad 6 strong. 2 with melta- 184 pts
Troop
- fire warriors 7 strong. - 70 pts
- fire warriors 7 strong. - 70 pts
- Kroot 12 strong. - 84 pts
Fast Attack
-Pathfinders 6 strong.- 72 pts
Dedicated Transport
-Devilfish with SMS,DP,MT. - 115 pts

Doesn't pathfinders -require- a devilfish?

He has one devilfish listed, and I'm assuming he'd say the pathfinders are with it. And if not more devil fish sure would hurt lol.

At only 3 troops choices, especially the ones you have, you are going to get killed in any objective based game. Stealthsuits (if you include them at all, which isn't that great an idea because crisis suits are better in every way) are much better in teams of three. Kroot are absolutely terrible, especially against MEQ. I'd say drop the stealthsuits and kroot for more fire warriors. Next up is your broadsides. In 5th edition, they're just not as good as they used to be because of Dawn of War setup. Bearing that in mind, you should probably consider taking advanced stabilization systems for them. If you don't play a lot of DoW, (for example, my friends and I always use pitched battle deployment), target locks are a better option. Multi-trackers are useless because they are armed with two very different weapons: a long range tank killer, and a close range infantry killer. Seeker missiles are amazing, but you don't have enough markerlights to make them effective. Either get another pathfinder squad or get some markerlights on FW Shas'ui.

Damn you are very correct about this my good man thank you.
I would most likely field 5 gun drones instead... like I did last time to those Imperial Guard. I will keep the Broadsides as they have been very effective in my experience . I only keep the Kroot because they are a meat shield for my broadsides, whether it be in the rear or sides. I do comply with the idea that stealth suits are not good at all (except to draw attention away from your main gun line), but right now i only have 18 fire warriors to use. but if I do decide to make my army better I would defiantly drop the stealth suits all together and go for another 7 strong fire warriors, get the 5 strong pathfinders, and another devilfish decked-out just like my other one. funny thing is that me and my friends always play pitched battle too .
Thank you for your constructive criticism.

Personally I always liked the idea of a heap of Fire Warriors lined up behind some trench, letting their pulse rifles work. It somehow just feels 'wrong' to have only 14 FWs in a 2k pts army. =P
Then again, as fun as it may sound to roll two fistfulls of dice every time you shoot at the enemy that still can't shoot, it's not always quite enough to bring stuff down in time.
