So after staring at a picture of the Exorcist for a good ten minutes, a question popped into my head: When the Sister of Battle operating the Exorcist Cannon plays, does it make pipe organ music?

Of course. Otherwise it wouldn't be any point to it, would there?

It would still shoot out the missiles.

The Exorcist in Dawn of War: Soulstorm does play music, IIRC.

On a semi-related note, reminds me of a story I heard about a Napoleonics miniatures game. At the start of the game, both sides set their troops up, and one of the players set up a small odd-looking unit off to one side. His opponent asked him what the odd unit was, and in reply was told it was the army's marching band. The band's owner then turned on some music, cranked up the volume, and indicated that the music was coming from the band.


Mid-way through the battle, the now irritable opponent suddenly rotated all of his artillery to face the marching band and fired...

I'm fairly certain it does not, sorry to be the serious one but I'm pretty certain its simply modeled to look like a mix of german artillery from WWII and still have a religious feel to it. Playing music in battle is what laud hailers are for

You know it's got a keyboard, right? And a Sister playing the keyboard? It make not make music, but it's certainly designed to look like a pipe organ.

I'm aware I'm just stating they were most likely looking at German Artillery pieces when they came up with the design. Much like the Land Raider having a lot in common with some of Britains tanks from WWI. Minus the laser cannons and adamantium armour

Do you think? I dunno, I reckon they just thought that an organ on the back of a Rhino would look really cool.

The thought of some crazed Sister playing Ode to Joy on that thing, as missiles rain down and dozens of traitors are blown to pieces....

I always imagine a keyboard at the back, with a Sister playing it, and each note equals one missile, which are told to go 'in that general direction' by the driver.

So that would imply music.

Probably more insoired by the Russian Katushka launchers, they were called Stalin's Organs after all.
