Ok first off this was judged at a LGS as how I'm typing, but I've been told I was wrong and cheating I would like to know.

A sister of battle battle sister squad has a minimum size of 10 (1 superior 9 sisters). The sisters cost 11 points each. I was told that the sister superior is like a free model from taking the squad seeing as how it's written in the book I can see that.
Number/Squad: 1 sister superior and 9-19 Battle Sisters
The sister superior may be upgraded to a veteran sister superior at a cost of +14 points.

Now this is my question. Is the sister superior free IE making it 0 + 99 for a 10 squad of sisters. And if I upgrade her it makes it 14 + 99 for a squad of 9 sisters and VSS. or is it 11 + 99 for 10 sisters and 25 + 99 for 9 sisters and VSS.

The only 2 stat blocks it has are for Battle Sister and Veteran Superior in the actual blocks above it. Is the sister superior just a battle sister until upgrade? or is she her own independent thing.

Second one I wasn't doing but was told that if a inquisitor were to take say psy bolts, all the gun servitors in his retinue with heavy bolters can fire also using the bolts special rules. I don't see how that works as written, but was insisted that it works that way.

She counts as a standard SoB so a default squad is 110 points before upgrades.

If I remember correctly the VSS adds the benefit of contributing to the faith pool and the ability to use the acts of faith, so definitely worth it.

No, psybolts would not work like that. It is like a piece of equipment and will only effect the person who has it. Besides psybolts can only be used in a bolter, not heavy bolters.

A Sister Superior is not a "free model". She is like a sergeant for Celestian Squad, Battle Sister Squad, Seraphim Squad, Dominion Squad and Retributor Squad. A Sister Superior share the same points cost and stats line similar to Sisters in her squad.

A Veteran Sister Superior is an upgrade. Veteran Sister Superior has better stats and access to Witch Hunter Armoury. In some cases, she will make the unit faithful, enabling them to use acts of faith. Veteran Sister Superior has an upgrade cost on top of the points cost for a Sister Superior. For Retributors, Dominoins, and Battle Sisters it's +14 points. For Seraphims and Celestians, it's +10 points.
