I don't mean to be nitpicky and I don't teach English. This is not relagated to you exclusively as I have seen this all over the internet and it's starting to drive me nuts, but I have a solution.

Beginning a sentence with the word 'so'. It seems to be a dismissive term that smacks of irregard for whomever is reading. I think it's the written equivalent of saying 'umm' before every sentence in a speech.

I have a solution to my problem. I've turned it into a drinking game. Every time I read the word 'so' to begin a sentence I take a drink. I must say that after developing this game I am not as annoyed by the use of that word so carelessly. I actually look forward to seeing it now.

The DW is a very good army. Have you considered diversifying the list a little, add in a Dreadnought to catch Bloodcrushers, maybe a RW unit to outflank and force your opponent to deploy centrally so termies aren't chasing people all over the place, etc.. I'm not saying it would improve things heads and shoulder above what you have. It will add a little flavor to the list and not force you to do the same thing every game (which can get boring).

Regarding starting sentences with "So" I'm ok with it I've weighed differrent options and it's the one that annoys me least so it's the one that gets used. Also "So" started 5 sentences in my entire batrep. And 2 of them did not double as "um" though 3 of them could be looked at that way. That's not really that many uses of a method of starting a sentence. I guess I could start every sentence with I or Then.

Also nitpicking english and then using the irregard? Pretty sure you meant disregard but I can't be sure since Irregard isn't a word

Regarding the Deathwing it was an army I managed to paint in 6 days so I didn't have time to add bikes and such. But after playing it for the weekend at 2k I'd probably do a 3-man bike squad and attack bike in addition to two typhoons. And I think the Bike Squadrons would have helped a few times. Including game 6 heavily which is a reason to bring them all on it's own. An excellent observation as the army play would quickly pale without adjustment though it is entertaining once in a while to shove 35+ Terminators down peoples throats.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest of these reports as Dark Angels is my main squeeze so to speak. I'm hoping you faced a horde army just so I can see how you handled it.

Question for you Hulksmash: In Dawn of War Deployment with Seize Ground as the primary or the only objective, how do you manage to make it across and still take objectives?

I ask this as I have been considering either an all Terminator Space Wolves Army or possibly a Counts As Deathwing using Space Wolf Terminator Models. My greatest concern is making it across the table with the Space Wolves; while with Deathwing there's the Deathwing Assault rule that gets them in the mix quick.

Your thoughts?

The only options with SW's that I can see is drop pods for the termie units. Otherwise I can't see you making it across without going an even more expensive route of taking Landraiders.

As for the deathwing I was normally getting across the table. Plus you get to deploy 2 units up front, normally on the line if you go first. It's really dependent on army type you're up against. Honestly I'm not sold on Deathwing as a balanced force. It definitely has a hard counter which you'll see later
