Wanting to cut one of the foam trays that came with my BF Warmachine bag so it's not as tall. Wondering if anyone knows of any particularly good tips or tricks for doing so.

My only advice would be to use a snap-off knife that's pretty long (like an Olfa) with a brand new, untouched blade, and cut it in sections, measuring every section.

You can cut them on a bandsaw if you have one that is large enough and has a newish blade.

Foam cutter? It is 2 D batteries with a wire completing the circuit. You may not get one large enough to do the top of a whole tray, but it does work good for cutting holes.

+1 Bandsaw, the one in my old woodshop has a 10 inch apeture, that works really well.

Also, I had some luck with a careful manual process with a sharp serrated bread knife.

Good luck!
