First thing I thought of when I saw this mini was, "That would be a perfect Molotov!", and it is...

Anyone know where I can find a good Brock Samson mini?

whiel the model is amazing, and the greenstuff work is really really good. Ogryn's don't fit the fluff

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I could see some Arbites stationed to police some savage /feudal or heck just a planet that has some ogryns on it and using them as a shock troop against massive rebellion . He looks awesome got any shots of the front and other side . I really want a small Arbite force just not willing to shell out the money for old or new enforcers haha

Good Job

Yeah I was gonna say Ogryn are fluffy for Arbites, like FMW said they'd be good in riot controle and I've seen an Arbites Ogryn made from a WFB Ogre that was carrying a battering ram.

He's for my Inquisimunda Arbites patrol. I wrote it so that players can select an Ogryn as a Custodian for Penal Legionnaires.

fluff wise the arbites have the mandate of hunting down mutants. Ogryns would never be able to perform to the standard of the arbite baring in mind in many ways they are higher than 95% of Imperial guard regiments.

anyway this isn't the place for this model more important!

can i ask which head you used for this model? In fact whats the basis of this model?

the molatov cocktease model is great as well, shame imo you have a pure theme as with your greenstuff skills you could create a really special security enforcer liek barberetta form inquistor

You're confusing the dictates of the Arbites with that of the Ordo Hereticus. Arbites aren't tasked with hunting down "mutants", unless they are seconded to a Witchhunter or those mutants are in violation of Imperial Law.

See their Wiki entry:

"the Arbites are responsible for enforcing the broader laws of the Imperium, and ensuring Imperial planetary governors do not plot against Imperial rule, and that all Imperial laws and decrees are followed...The Adeptus Arbites also serves to keep planetary governors in check..."

Arbites do perform fire hunts on say a scavvy gang or band of chaos cultists but Ogryns , Ratlings and even pushing it Beastmen are abhumans who are pretty much accepted in the the imperiums eyes

Why not use a catachan? The wife beater torso could be greenstuffed into a polo shirt with the addition of a collar and then the arms could have short sleeves added. I'm sure one of the heads would be useful, just add a ponytail.

It's not just a pony-tail, it's an awesome poodle-mullet! And you have to add the cigarette. And the loafers.

the existent of abhumans breaks the lex imperialis by existing..... And the Arbties still have an over ruling command structure so this whole idea of colonial deployments using ogryns and ratlings is really really dodgy.... read the arbite novels of shira calpurnia for more on the command structure.

also i am thinking for the pony tail go with the pony tail one of these guys!

This guy used Catachan parts and sculpted the hair himself:

To date, this is the only Marbo I've seen that I liked as much as my Duke Nukem conversion Your Molotov is awesome too, but I'd need to see her painted! I also really like the Ogryn, your sculpting is very old-school and it looks straight out of the Bob Olley Ogryn from the 80s. Given your skills converting the Ogryn, I'm sure you could sculpt Samson's hair.

Random Citizen: "Beat it or I'll call the Arbites Brute Squad"
Ogryn Arbite: "I'm on the brute squad."
Random Citizen: "You ARE the brute squad!"

That's a very characterful and well-executed conversion. An Ogryn Arbiter never even crossed my mind, but it makes you think how other abhumans could be used in the Arbites: a ratling SWAT sniper, perhaps?

Excellent conversion, lovely paint-job. Superb.

You should post all the pics from your blog here, for those too lazy to click on the links or those who think that the 1 pic here is all.

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

Very nice work on the shoulder pad. I didn't realize how good of a fit the BB ogre would be for that purpose.
