The Land Raider with the 8 Purifiers, that is 21 power weapoin attacks at
Ini 6.
Most Units Even some bricks would take a pretty good beating to that. I am not expecting to overwelm someone in close combat, but I have the power weapons and
Ini to cause good if not complete damage to most units.
I realize that a lot of armies are going to have the shooting to bust me out of 11 armor transports, there is nothing I can do about that. Cept maybe smoke the vehicle and keep it within 6'' of the Land Raider with the Libarian. 3+ cover saves for a round. That gives me the ability to get in my needed 24'' range to blow up their transports or tanks with psycannons.
I also have the firepower in the backfield to pop any cheap transports. 8 of those shots hits on 2's with rerolls. Unless its a Land Raider or Leman Russ... I am causing a result to 3 vehicles a turn.
But the other option is of course is to drop 1 of the raiders and full up the purifier groups more. Run with 5 full 10 man rhinos. That puts 50 marines on the table and more Psycannons.
