In my 750points (soon to be 1000points) IG list, I have place for a 150point tank. I already have the tank, but I didn't assemble the top part. Now I was wondering what your experience is with either battle tank or exterminator, and what I should take in my army. I already have a Demolisher in the list, so I was thinking about the exterminator, but I really don't know which one to take.

I'd go with the battle tank. A very good tank. Can take down vehicles and infantry.

I shall rule the world someday utilizing my cuteness. And I already have one minion to help me do it!

Of course it makes sense. When there are a bunch of BDSM clowns doing Olympic gymnast routines throughout your unit, while also cutting off heads, you tend to get a bit distracted.

So the exterminator isn't too good? Ok, I'll go with the Battle Tanks

Guard have plenty of ways to field autocannons, including infantry squads or Hydras. The standard LRBT cannon is incredibly versatile and has a place in just about any IG army. The only time I've ever seen an exterminator do alright was when Pask was in it, and that's another 50 points or so for a kind of gimmicky tank hunter.
