Hello, I was wondering if two ally players or two Axis players play Axis vs Axis, or Ally vs Ally, do the rules still work the same or is the game based around ally vs axis?

You can still run blue on blue battles with the same rules.

Yep. It is all the same. Book says to think of them more as training exercises than battles, but it is hard, especially in a league to have an exact number of Axis and Allied players all the time. Even if there is an even number in the league there might not be any given league game day. Remember one Sunday in our recent early war league where because of the timing of when people showed up we had 3 games going on with British on British, German on German and Poles on Poles with a French player watching.

The only place we have found that Blue on Blue battles don't work too well are playing a number of the American lists from the upated Vietnam rules. Either the off table artillery completely obliterates which ever side forgets it is there first, or most of the vehicles have weapons that won't penetrate other US vehicles effectively.
