You know, that novel in the HH series with a possessed marine on the cover. How was it? Worth buying?

One of the best in the series.
The protagonists are all despicable douchebags for one reason or another, but they're well-written.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

^ Agree. Argel Tal is the only character I can sympathize with, he has his duty thrust upon him due to his loyalty. It's a very good book for the story. If you want a lot of action, it's perhaps not the best, but it's well paced and offers a lot of insight into several factions like the Custodes and Possessed Marines.

One of the best in the series imo.
Good pace, interesting angle with the Custodes, a bit of intrigue and action, well written.

It's well and truly up there with the best stories so far. Well paced, thought out and executed well. A D-B uses the story to fine tune and polish events in the past, taking broad ideas and solidifying them into canon. Really good read.
