Saga of the Warrior Born states: 'the character gets a bonus to his Attacks equal to the number of models he killed during the previous Assault Phase.'

I know this is straight-forward but it says how many models killed not how many unsaved wounds inflicted. Therefore, if you run down an enemy unit on your own you've killed them, so do you get the additional attacks for the whole unit?

For example, if my Wolf Lord charges a Chaos Marine unit (20 man strong), wins the combat and catches them, does he get 20 additional Attacks for killing the whole unit? Would really appreciate verification.

You didnt kill then, Sweeping Advance did. No extra attacks.
