Hi All

a while ago I saw a thread detailing a number of places you could get female cadian, the hasslefree heads and chapter house one don't really appeal to me

the one that interested me the most was this link

however you can see it's now 404, I used to taunt myself checking out every so often. I was palnning if I could ever get the money together to my a whole platoon worth.

Does anyone know if thye have stopped trading totally or if they have just moved sites?

Search for "female guard" "female IG" etc. on these forums. You'll find the results sooner that you'll get replies here. There's no shortage of them. Just. Search.

You can probably find a lot on google, too.

I already have, most seem to go on about the Hassle free one (but they don't have hair and my sculpting isn't up to the job) or the chapter House one which IMHO are ugly as sin.

In google you mainly get links in forums discussing the subject or the two products I just mentioned or pictures of the one that were on the link I mentioned in my first post.

Doing a Google search for Lost Clan Miniatures got me this .

All the way at the bottom, "Sci-fi Female conversion kit" should be just what you're looking for. I've used some of these in my Army and they look very nice. Adds a bigger bust and trimmer waist (as well as the lady-heads of course) to your Cadians, but with measurments that are still reasonable and not BEWBS!.

Aren't the Lost Clan figures the ones that give them Lara Croft-style proportions? Those just look silly, though.

Micro Art Studios has a nice set of female heads. In full combat gear, there isn't a huge difference in body shape from men to women anyhow. Especially not at 28mm.

Or under the armour. If you want some, then man up and get sculpting.

Lost Clan stopped their business a year or two ago for personal reasons.

Shadowforge conversion kits are close. Tinbitz produces a female upper torso and two heads (made those before Lost Clan, Shadowforge and Dr.Death).

Currently Chapterhouse makes some female guard models, but Shadowforge looks better IMHO.

The niche for good looking female guard is still vacant

Maybe not at 28mm sculpted to actual human proportions. In GW's exaggerated 'Heroic' scale, Cadians with female heads don't look like androgynous guardsmen who could be either gender... They just look like men with women's heads.

I was going to say they look like Crossdressing eldar guardians, trying to infiltrate dressed as Cadians, while forgetting to take off their make-up from the earlier show.....
