Had this come up in a game where I was playing against nids, and my opponent had some good points.
Deathleaper has a rule that states that units shooting at him must " follow the rules for night fighting, halving the distance rolled."
Now, the rules for night fighting are to roll 3d6 and then divide that by half. That is your range.
So for Deathleaper, is that range halved again?

No idea which rule you were thinking of - eldar harlies can make you essentially night fight on 2D6x2", but not seen any that are halved.
