ive been looking at a few list trying to put in models that i enjoy and not just get creamed by anyone. I dont want to be overly competetive and as you can see i love furioso's. the death company and the dread go in the stormraven, my plan for it is to put it inbetween two units so that the death company dread and normal death company can attack different targets.

This is an ok list, but is a bit mis-matched in places.

I would probably rate Captains as almost the worst BA HQ (although in this list format, probably not all that bad) even avioiding the special characters, a Librarian would be more useful, even though you have the Lib Dread.

I like your elites, although i would probably never give a dread extra armour, even though it is useful.

The main problem i have with this list, is your mech elements. You have 3 Dreads, 2 Rhinos and a Stormraven. Stormraven needs to reserve or its dead first turn. Which means you then have a drop podding dread and two rhinos on the board. Most armies have enough anti-tank weapons to slow down/immobile/wreck those in first turn. The assault squad i don't know wether you plan to deep strike or just jump around. Neither will help in this list i don't think.


What i would suggest you do, is try and find some dread build lists on dakka and see how they are done. But i don't think your troop section (other than Death Company and Dread) really complement the dread style. Maybe think about a second Stormraven....

What units would you suggest instead of the 10 man assault squad because i wanted to keep at least 3 troop choices that can capture objectives and im not sure whether or not to take another tactical squad?

Well you could just keep the Assault squad, but give them a rhino, but you would need to find 20 points. Or another tactical squad since your already going down that route. I would also suggest trying to get a preist, to get one or two squads of tacticals FNP, you could do this by dropping the Captain down to a Librarian.
