I am looking at buying some second hand 1980s Space Marines with Beaky Heads.
I want them for the heads but i am unsure as to wether they will fit new Space Marines.
Does anyone know if they are the same as new Beaky heads or if they are a differnt scale and will look funny.
Are the 80's beaky heads different from todays beaky heads, in stlye etc, they look a bit bulkier but i am unsure?
Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to add a bit of a neck to them with green stuff or other putty to fit into the torso, but other than that they work great. The heads as they are are just round on the bottom.

Cool thanks. I wasn't sure if they were the same size or not, the proportions look a bit different from the new ones.

They're lightly smaller and differently designed to the current Mk6 helmets.

If they don't wind up looking a little small, what they probably will do is give your marines a slightly better appearance of size, as GW's models tend to have slightly over-sized heads as a part of their exaggerated scale, which makes them look short and squat.

Thanks. Thats a good site i haven't seen before.
I was looking at some on ebay but was outbid, i only want ten or so.
I quite like the idea of having most of my chapter in them.

Thanks for the info guys, i am going to keep a look out on ebay for a bargain.
At the moment i can't quite bring myself to spend £1 on individual heads. I guess i will have to work out how much i want them. I didn't realise they were quite so desirable.

Here is an idea you could try, I'm going to try this out making Maximus armor heads. I'm going to mold green stuff copies of the front of a Mk4 head to glue on to normal Mk7 heads
