so what midevil weapon would you choose if you had to/could? from any era. no guns.and why would you choose it?

mine is a tie between the katana for its advanced steel blade and its massive cutting power.-

I've been running searches since you mentioned it and haven't seen it mentioned once on any weapon sites. I have a feeling it's a name the internet has invented for something that they don't know is something else.

There IS however a Spear sword, which is a spear blade remounted to a sword handle.

:shrug: ive seen it,you havent. what does that say? the internet contradicts itself. and guess what? never heard of a spear sword. looked at plenty of sites,never heard it mentioned.

they were isolated,so they didnt fight the same enemy. ive held a katana.just like the way it feels. and its a strong weapon for a blade. as for armor,both is what i hear sometimes,but either would be good. also mixed in under that is wood and leather.

[2] - If we are choosing our preferred Medieval weapon, then the only era we have to choose from is the Middle Ages, a.k.a., the Medieval era.

good for you! i care not how its exactly spelled. and as for era,i dont care either. the middle ages lasted for awhile.so if you really need to,split it up into times as not all weapons were there in every part.
