I call this list a "weird" Ork list for two reason. For one, it's lead by Old Zogwort, and because it filled with units that people consider bad in the Ork codex. Personally I think that playing Warhammer is more about a person's skill than what uber units they take.

HQ
Old Zogwort - 145

Elite:
12 Tank Bustas - 205
2 Bomb-Squigs, Nob, Bosspole, 2 tank hammer

20 Shoota boyz - 170

11 Grots - 43
Runtherd

More Dakka, Painboy, Grot Orderly

Looted Wagon 110
Boomgun, Big Shoota

And before anyone says it, yes, I know it lacks long ranged weapons.

Always good to see "fun" lists, that dont spam all the good stuff.

However, IMO, that list could be quite competitive because you're right. Winning is about skill... And luck.

Could you make room for one more Weirdboy? Having that extra Zzap in there could save your bacon against Land Raiders and such.

@Brian: Hmm, well I could. It would certainly be more helpful, but I'm not sure where to take the point from. I could drop the grot orderlies, the nob from the slugga squad (and all his stuff), and a big shoota from the 20 ork mob and have enough to buy another one, but that brings the question if getting Warphead is important enough to shave off another 30 points.

Maybe drop the 12 boy mob? That's Trukk sized, without a Trukk, and the other Warphead may very well more than make up for it, doubling your chances for a Waaagh!! each turn.

Use the extra points on more Bomb Squigs and stuff.

Honestly, Tankbustas aren't as 'turrible' as most people seem to think. They're basically an Orky Devestator squad, in a way. Glory Hogs! isn't going to be so much trouble, if only because you're probably going to be trying to shoot and assault vehicles with them anyways! Especially with two squads, you'll basically have the table covered with Rokkit fire.

Flash Gitz are rather fun as well, and not too bad- half the time they're going to be ignoring FnP and MeQ armour, and Str. 6 (if you get Shootier) will instagib multiwound T3 models (though I don't know if there actually are any t3 multiwound models). Just the psychological factor of four whole squads who'll pretty much be ignoring their precious 3+ should be a huge weapon against Marine Equivalent players.

That might be the best idea. They're meant to be the squad Zogwort is attached to, to get the most out of 'Ere We Go and and vipersquig attacks, but I could put him in a Tankbusta or Flash Git squad instead

Just attach the Warpheads to Shootaboy mobs. Even Shootas are pretty decent in Assault, and 30 bodies suddenly teleporting across the table to land in the middle of that Devestator squad isn't anything to sneeze at.

I like it. you have enough bodies on the ground to soak up damage and not lose effectiveness. With lots of firepower and klaws to help open up tougher enemy units.

Best of luck!
