What's with all of the angles on this site. Everywhere you look in these forums, (a full 360 degrees!) there are hundreds of mentions of them.

Dark Angles, Blood Angles, Angles of death, City of Angles, Avenging Angles. You'd think it was a geometric conspiracy!

Okay, altogether now;

Angle [n] 1. (Pronounced Ang-gl) A meeting of two lines or surfaces. 2. Point of view. See also; slant, tilt, slope, distort.

Angel [n] 1. (Pronounced Ain-gel) Divine messenger, guardian spirit. 2. A person with such qualities. See also; cherubim, seraphim, paragon, saint.

Space Marine [n] (Pronounced Spess Murh-een) Large angry man with receding hair and homicidal tendencies. See also; brute, cad, bounder.

Maybe I'm being a little precious, but this misspelling really infuriates me!

I feel the same way about people who write 'Spess Muh-reen'.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Touche, although that's the first time I've ever mentioned it! (And it wasn't followed by hundreds of exclamation marks!)

Mysterious Angles? Who cares?
Airfix are re issuing their venerable Angels Interceptor kit *WHOO HOO!* with which to aid the fight against the darstardly Mysterons

I agree to an extent but it is whimsically amusing and may be a simple typo rather than ignorance.

I think you are fishing for a response. A lesser person might take acute offence at that accusation.

That's the right thing to do, just don't take acute offense at the obtuse statements.

The sines of madness in this thread is quite clear; we must be careful for the remainder of this thread to avoid anymore puns lest this thread become locked.
