Can snikrot truly come off of any board edge with an Ghazzy attached to his unit? If so, can Ghazzy actually leave the unit and assault something completely different?

This one's quite commonly discussed it seems.
IIRC RAW state that:
1) Yes snikky's rules applies to an IC
2) As of the new FAQ (I think) any IC attatched to said unit cannot leave said unit until the next turn.

Yes, Snikrot's "Ambush" rule applies to IC's joined to the squad, however because they all have to move onto the board as a cohesive unit, any attached IC must remain attached for the entirety of the turn they come into play.

The ambush rule works so long as they are put in reserve.
However IC's can't separate the turn they arrive.

Yes he can, but he must move at the speed of the slowest member.
Also, as to the original question: 1) Yes, Snikrot can take ICs with him. 2) No, they cannot leave the turn they arrive.

Everyone here has the right of it. Ambush isn't a USR, it applies to the 'unit' wich the IC is a part of, and an IC may not leave a unit the turn it arrives.

Ork Admiral Kroozin Da Kosmos on Da Hulk
|
At the very least, he brings a nice gun.
|
7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |
