Well, After reading Nemisis I would really like to have a Vanus Assassin and to use them as an allie counts as All 3 Advisors (not bodyguard) for an imperial guard army, thing is, this brings up wysiwig problems and possibly TLOS problems, would anyone mind me doing this if i had other models that were piles of communication tech or the like to use as the others?

Bah, after reading that it doesnt make much sense. The question is, do you mind me using a single model with two other bases of bits as all three advisors?

The boys 'll smash yah, so will da Nob
The Bos 'll stompa till your dead
Snikrot 'll kill ya wiff is hands behind is 'ead!"

^^^^ Ode to Snikrot, the Sneakiest, Stabbiest, Morkiest, Kommando to ever walk the face of whoever looked at him funny! Tourne W/D/L 6/0/0 Public W/D/l 24/2/8 All with my orksof course

As long as they looked sufficiently cool, I wouldn't care. In a tournament, it would be better to have the actual models.

As long as they are about Guardsman size, there shouldn't be a problem at all, even in tournaments. Just make sure to explain what is what before the game.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

He's asking if he can use a single model to count-as three separate models.

No he isn't. He wants to use three models, one assassin and two piles of equipment.

Just remember that the piles of equipment each have a lasgun, and CCW(and as such makes a bonus attack along with their regular attacks).

It won't matter to your fluff except when Fighting in a Multi-combat, or against a Unit+IC(which is a multi-combat during attacks) sometimes, some of your "assassin's" attacks must be split in really strange ways.

Also it will be a rather poor assassin as far as combat ability goes.

It's a vanus assassin - theyre not meant to be front line troops! If you read Nemesis theyre essentially hackers.

Also lassgun + CCW is not eligible for a bonus attacks for 2 CCW, unless you meant another type of bonus attack?

Make them the appropriate size and you will be fine.

3W and nine attacks on the charge is not that bad

Nope I meant 2 weapon, since all 4 advisers have Laspistol and CCW; thats 3 attacks on the charge, 2 any other time.

Ah fair enough - it was specifying lasgun that confused me

I just now realized I wrote lasgun instead of laspistol in the first post; the mistake was all mine.
