Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I am not a big fan of Strike squads.

In a tournament were they have some options about their match-ups I would have gone terminator heavy and tried to get matched up against armies that will struggle against them with lack of AP2 weaponry like orks and space marines.

What that list does do well though is deal with Daemons (which are quite popular in Europe) and act as a generalist list that you can put up first and expect to handle most things reasonably well without sacrficing the very strong Space Wolf list.

In fact, Daemons are quite popular here, especially with Fateweaver and lots of Bloodcrushers.

Although, browsing the various countries' army lists it appears that Daemons are less popular this year.

I'm a little surprised by the lack of DA. You'd think with a match-up system a DW list would be absolutely brutal. We're talking 31 Terminators and 2 speeders at 1750 and you can make sure they avoid Lash or DE Venom Spam I'd see that as a tough, tough army. But then again I don't know the missions so they could be horrible

I like most of the lists, however the GK list is off points, but I'm assuming that's a typing error. Hammers on Strike squads are 10pts, not 5. Which means he's 10pts over if something else isn't off.

Tony's and Shaun's lists both look nasty. Tony's in a take whichever army is ugliest and make it cry sort of way and Shauns in a god help you if his team gets to pick who he fights kind of way.

Looking forward to the coverage. Glad that Jay and Tony both got to go.

These lists will try and pair up against footsloogers to take full advantage of the Lash and plasmacannon templates combo. If they have to they can go up against medium mech with no psychic defense.

These lists need to be seen as part of a team and each list is designed to counter another type of list.
