Just thought I should let you know, that A New Beginning, the last game from the German developer Daedalic, now has an English Demo.

Daedalic is a rather small company from Hamburg who make fantastic adventure games. If you have fond memories of classic LucasArts adventures and find Telltale's offerings to easy in the puzzle department, then you have to check out their games. Apart from really nice riddles, their games look gorgeus and are brillianty written.

I played the demo last night. I got to Chapter 1 and when the girl saw the city, the game shut down on me. I don't think that was supposed to happen. Maybe it crashed, but even still I liked the game quite a bit. Did anyone else play it?

Well, the scene you describe is the end of the demo. But I don't think it's supposed to crash.

Before I set up the dish it crashed. I played it again and it worked just fine. I really like the game though.

The demo gives you a pretty good picture of the whole game. It was a bit buggy when it came out here, but they should've fixed most of it by now.

Neat, may have to look into this. THanks to steam I've gone back to my roots, playing games whos overall mechanics were considered cutting edge gameplay.
