Hi im new and im not a real AtomicEngineer lol

although ive bought warhammer over the years, my new tau army will be the first time ive tried really collecting and playing, so i have many questions for this forum and you lot lol ^_^

and to answer your question, i wanted to collect tau because i much prefer to stand back and level the enemy with gunfire than get in close, seems much more managable.
So far i got two squads of fire warrirors, a squad of four stealthsuits and three battlesuits, one is going to be converted into a commander.

I have some rather noobish questions if you dont mind:

1: does the tau army commander need to be a battlesuit commander if you want a battlesuit in charge, or can it be a regular battlesuit?
2: im still very very new to actually playing so im not sure how to use my tau very well, maybe afew pointers?

You've always got to take either a Shas'O or a Shas'el

but the model is just a battlesuit.

As for basic pointers, you'll get a lot of it just from experience. Best basic tip I can give you is do research somewhere like this for every unit you're considering taking, just to find out if they are actually worth taking or not
