This it my first attempt at painting a dreadnought. The army is only tabletop quality [I didn't drill barrels or do model lines] but I thought I would share it. It was also my very first attempt at basing a model.

It looks good, but as said before I'd paint the parchment a lighter color but leave the current color in the recesses, it looks nice as a shade color. Also maybe try some highlighting on the blue major armor plates. All in all though its a very clean and nice looking mini.

Yeah, I am going to paint the scrolls more of a light brown color. I haven't tried to do highlights but I guess it's worth a shot to make my Dread look better. LoL! Thanks for the comments
