So, I have a Mac at home and a Mac at work, both using the latest version of Safari. if I log in here with one of them, when I go to the other I have to log in again, and every time I switch back and forth. But, I don't remember this happening when I was on a PC at home and mac at work.

Is it a safari thing? or a Mac thing? or a Dakka thing? any way I can fix it so I don't always have to log back in every time?

Oh no! Oh my! It's the apocalypse!

No, but seriously, It may be the switch from PC to Mac. I switch browsers from Mac to Mac, and it makes me log in both times.

It is particular to your setup. If you are using the exact same version of web browser on multiple machines, it notices your IP changes and kicks you out as it presumes someone has hacked in to your account using cookie hijacking. No way around it short of using multiple different versions of web browsers on different machines (each browser version has a machine specific entry in the remember-login table so it wont kick you off). You could also use a user-agent changing plugin on one machine to change the code your browser uses to identify itself to dakka.
