This came up last Saturday and I'm unsure of the correct answer. Apologies if already covered to death. I shot down a wave serpent going flat out, thus it was wrecked. Aren't the occupants killed outright? Or is this a hold over in my brain from 4th? My opponent argued that it can only kill the occupants if it is in "his" turn--i.e. dangerous terrain fail.

What is the verdict.

Your opponent was correct.

The turn a vehicle moves flat out, no passengers may embark or disembark. Page 3 (and the BRB FAQ) states that "turn" means "player turn" unless specified otherwise, meaning the vehicle would have to be wrecked in the players own turn for the occupants to be automatically destroyed.

If it gets destroyed during his turn(failed DT test or ramming) they can't get out and are killed. A weapon scattering over it would do the trick too.

However they are slightly outclassed by a GK libby , mastery 3 with MoT and Quicksilver, and 11 death cult assassins. I10 with 44 S6 power weapon attacks dealing out 2D6 armour pen each....
