The RP gaming books, particulary the Inquisitor level books, have more information on assassins in general.

Ascension (Dark Heresy "advanced" book) is probably the best, non-story-fluff, that details their training requirements (hell, you have to lose a Fate Point just buying into the class), as well as the Exitus Rifle and Exitus Pistol (their unique, Vindicare-only signature weapons) and the specialist ammunition types they carry, as well as other Vindicare-only gear.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
