I was contacted to create a Dark Elf regiment off the back of the work I am doing on my own Druchii host.

After lengthy discussion about the nature of Dark Elves and those of Karond Kar, we decided upon a few design principles and I went off to sculpt these for him. These soldiers will form the corner stone of a much larger commission to create a grand war-host of Karond Kar; perfect timing for storm of Chaos no?

Really good conversion work. My one quibble is that they still look quite high elf-y. Maybe they'd look better with dark elf heads (although I suppose you'd have to carve off the current ones) spearheads (although those are a bit clunky compared to modern minis) and shields (but you've done a good job altering the shape of HE ones).

Really great! But Showcase is only for finished, painted models. Moving to P&M. Although if you're going to be chonicling an ongoing project over stages, PM a mod and ask us to move it to P&M Blogs.
