Hello everyone, I've been lurking for quite some time now. I must say that Dakka is one of the best forum communities I have ever seen.

Now to the point:

I recently looked into Nazdreg's fluff and he struck me as a very interesting warboss. Unfortunately, GW hasn't made a recent model for him from what I could gather around the net. However I have seen (except the conversions) http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dJPVdylod6k/TDQ_22868RI/AAAAAAAADnQ/BVhIh16wNXE/s1600/180px-Nazdreg_Miniature.jpg this model and I recall reading something about this one being in a german GW site.

Of course, taking a look at the current GW site he isn't there but I still can't understan whether this model is actually official and if so why it isn't available anymore.

Fluff aside, he is a great alternative to Ghaz, the other standard mega armour warboss.

Thank you, sorry for being a total noob.

He was statted in the old Ork codex, i believe, but was left out of the current one for some reason.

Pity really. I like him.

You can always claim that your Megaboss is him

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

It was a missed opportunity to NOT include him by GW - he could have opened a niche for Orks who are actually decent at shooting (he had BS 4!)

Fixture of Dakka

That's a conversion. A good one, but a conversion still.

Part list, by looking:

Head of an ork boy, or maybe a nob with a boyz helmet added.
left shoulder Glyph plate from a trukk or battlewagon
Right shoulder icon from night goblin (shield, I think).
Bosspole from old metal nobs + night goblin banner top
Body & Gob: Mega nob
left arm/gun: old shokk attack gun model, without the spinner
right army/powerklaw: ghaz

That's about all I can pick out right now, but they're definitely identifiable parts.

Thank you for the replies.

I did not realise that model was a conversion, it looks quite sophisticated and similar to other ork models hence I assumed it may have been some sort of rare model by GW.

That would be really nice indeed. I was thinking something similar. I envision my Ork army to work sort of like that, focusing on firepower and keeping melee on a supportive role.
