When necrons come back to life they have to join a squad of the same type within 6". Does this mean that a unit can have more than its allowed? I.e. a wraith joins a squad of three wraiths to make it four.

Also, I'm unclear on the whole ignore terrain thing for wraiths and C'tan. If they land on imppassible terrain do you put them on top of the terrain? What if there is no suface for them to stay on?

Yes. You can end up with a 9 strong wraith unit with some obscene luck

They ignore it. You put them on top of the terrain (they hover above it). If there is no surface put a dice there or whatever, and hold the model in place while the opponent shoots for LOS purposes.

Generally it's easier just to fly them through it to a surface, though. They ignore the negative effects of travelling through difficult/dangerous terrain.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

What do you do when you have a monolith on imppassible terrain and you teleport non-wraiths to it?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also, when they get back up, do they pop up right next to the squad or do they have to move within coherency?

I thought Wraiths had rules stating they could not end their move within impassable - they can move through it, but not end up left IN it.

If you decide to put your monolith on top of impassable terrain, and teleport models out of it that cannot move onto impassable terrain, theyre dead unless they can emergency disembark from somewhere else on the hull. So its a bad itdea.

When models get back up they must be placed in coherency with the unit. Nothing says this has to be the same side of the unit as they started....

Squad limits are for choosing them for your army list to begin with. There is no rule that says that a unit can't be increased past its original cap if some rule allows extra models to join the unit.

So yes, WBB can result in units increased past their original maximum size.

Aside from being able to move through (but not end their move inside) terrain, they move in the same manner as jetbikes, so can only end their move on top of terrain if it's physically possible to place them there.

If they are unable to disembark legally, they would be destroyed.

They are placed in coherency, as per the WBB rule.
