Is there a piece of wargear called a Warp Amp or Warp Amplifier?
I was sure i had seen it in a book somewhere but can't for the life of me find it. i think it had something to do with noise marines but i might be mixing it up with a Doom Siren.

What is it supposed to do?

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

No idea. I just remember seeing it somewhere, and i was trying to help a friend make an Emperors Children list.
Maybe it was a forge world thing for the sonic dreadnought.

Fixture of Dakka

It is an upgrade for a Chaos vehicle. It can be found in the Wargear supplemental book.

What it does, or any other details are unknown to me.

Can't find it anywhere, you're not thinking of the Warp Time psychic power? Automatically Appended Next Post: I've really never seen that book before

Dangerous Outrider

It is in the 3rd Edition (3.5 maybe) Codex in the Book of Slaanesh section.
Enemies at 12" are -1 to leadership
Enemies at 6" are -2 to leadership
Enemies in contact are at -3 to leadership.

Found it on Lexicanicum....
Warp Amp
The Warp Amp amplifies emotions and sensations by projecting warp energy from pipes and tubes in the vehicles hull for the betterment of allies and detriment of enemies. This is very effective when used on basic infantry.2
Looks like it was in the last chaos codex as a vehicle upgrade.

This. It used to be a Slaanesh vehicle upgrade that reduced enemy Ld while within 12", with increased modifiers the closer you were to the vehicle.
The closest equivalent in the current codex is the Dirge Caster, which only affects enemy units that are tank shocked.

Back in the old days it was a must. You took it and blasphemous runes for a total of -4 when tank shocking. Was super brutal.
