Nice! I will use this next time I paint a metal piece. I have also heard that scrubbing minis with toothpaste and a toothbrush will ‘polish’ a mini for better painting. I’ve tried this with resin and plastic and it works. It gets the greasy mould release off and helps the paint flow on the mini better. Don’t know if it would work on Metal though.

Warm water and a bit of detergent achieves the same.

However, on metal minis, a dremel and carbon steel, followed by brass brush, works wonders.

I recently rehabilitated some classic space wolves that I got off ebay this way.
