Hello friendly people. I was just getting into the wargaming hobby last year when I whisked myself away to the Philippines to save the world with Peace Corps. That's all great, but sometimes you want to smash stuff. I had written off wargaming for a couple years, but then I was poking around the net and found Vassal. Convenient gaming even from a small town on the edge of the world.
I'm just starting as a Warmachine player, focusing on Khador to learn the ropes but with my eye on a Talion Chapter force for the future. After playing against some Trolls I'd love to pick up Hordes too. From years back I have a little Warhammer 40k experience, just Tau but I want to try Imperial Guard.
There's a lot I need to learn and I hope this forum can provide answers and inspiration along with a few players who are up at strange hours.
