I don't like most of the chaos daemon models but like their ruleset as it seems fun, but I was wondering if it would be acceptable to use beastmen from whfb as bloodletters/pink horrors/flamers of Tzentch, and maybe using the larger models as bloodcrushers, the daemon princes/greater daemons and soul grinders would be the standard model

Should be fine, just make sure everything is hunky dory with your opponent.

Pics so we can see if they float? Shouldn't be a problem, as long as they are appropriate looking (wings on a minotaur lord as a Bloodthirster would look B.A.)

I had the same idea, some models like the greater demons or beasts of nurgle could be replaced by beastmen easily. Any idea how to make them look more demonish?

I've seen Beastmen Gors painted black and red used as Bloodletters, and they looked excellent. More demonish was easy; just not giving them any natural tones to their skin, hair, horns or hooves.

Here's another question since I actually own the models: What about Skaven as chaos daemons? I love skaven and it's a real shame there's no equivalent in 40k :(

They could be possesed or mutants easily enough. As long as it's WYSIWYG you could even bring them to tournaments. Perhaps using them as pink horrors or something. If there's a hairless Skaven model that could look nasty, but in a good way

Rat ogres as Demon princes and Greater daemons. I'd definitly let you, and I think it could look awesome.

Sure. Especially if (again) you paint their skin/fur in unnatural colors, to make clear that these are not animal-people, but daemonic things. Conversions can also help. For example, if you were using them as Horrors, maybe take the robed Plague Monks and sculpt some fire coming from their hands out of green stuff.

its a cool idea, i would like to see it done tho beastmen are just mutants in my book and are better used as such. The bloodletter are really nice model and could be converted easy enough.
