Warning, merging of two universes to follow. Avert your eyes all ye devoted entirely to fluff.
I have a question on how well this would sound/work or if the idea should be dropped outright. First, an explanation as to the “who” then I will ask the question of “how?”
Alright so, I’m a writer, been working on a couple of books (not WH related) and have the horrible habit of adding back story to any game of warhammer 40k I play. When I decided to start a CSM army I had this crazy idea in my head to make a conversion model for a chaos sorcerer (or in this case as sorceress) that will represent a character from one of the books I write. The character, is from another universe, obviously, but was transported to the 40k universe as a punishment for rebelling against her master, Death. She is of a not so well know race I’ve dubbed “Ravenkin” (the name may change when I figure out a better one) which are human like creatures who are gifted with raven black wings and a fraction of Death’s (grim reaper’s) powers. Sort of like Shinigami (not sure how to spell that). They serve Death in regulating the stream of souls and eliminating anomalies in the system of life and death. Now, without going into too much more detail to bore you all with, I will move onto the actual question.
I just finished reading the book Soul Hunter not that long ago, and in it I remember it mention that in the 40k universe souls supposedly become a part of the warp. So, first part of my question is, am I to assume that the warp is effectively a sea of souls? If that is so, then would Death (Grim reaper) be able to draw from the warp and recall lost souls to create an army for my chaos sorceress (my Ravinkin) to command within the 40k universe to carry out his will?
