So I finally decided to start my own Warhammer 40000 army this summer after reading a lot of fluff and codexes. I will go with Space Marines ( Blood Ravens chapter ), but I need Dakka opinion on best solutions for 1000, 1500, 1750 and 2000 points SM army?
People here just suggested I buy a lot of tactical marines and 1 Rhino for each squad. What is Dakka thinking?

What kind of army are you looking for?
Competetive, semi-competetive or casual?
What is your local meta like?
Lots of vehicles? Artillery? Horde? Gunline?

a) Nothing special, just a regular army. With little stronger range support.
b) Casual, with combination of ranged, assault and armor.
c) They are mostly using Space Marines, have several Tau, Necrons, Guard and Tyranids.
d) I was thinking about average umber of vehicles ( 3-5 ) maybe 2 Dreds and 3 Predators.

So any suggestion?

So... gunline marines with some assault units and a touch extra armour?
It sounds like the standard Salamanders build would suit your inclinations... though maybe more armour than average. 3 predators could be a good thing for your list considering the types of lists you may face.
My last question was concerning the lists you are likely to face.

So, can you make me an army list if it's not to much trouble?

About the lists.. lot of people here use tactical squads with heavy weapons + Rhino tanks to close with the opponent and wreck him.
Tyranid players use Carnifex and warriors...
Didn't see the Necron list...

TH+SS termies in a dedicated LR
2 dreads in drop pods, heavy flamer and a multi melta on each.

3 Tac squads, flamer and a multi-melta either mounted in rhinos or accompanied by razorbacks. (Razorbacks with lascannons if you're up against a mech heavy force)

3 predators 2 anti tank (autocannon and las sponsons) and 1 dakka red (autocannon and heavy bolter sponsons)

That's 1790 points at a rough guestimate.
That should be fairly okay, you can drop a tac squad, dread or a predator if you need to save on the points.

Thanks... Just few things:
-For Predators 2 with Autocannon + 2 las from each side and one Destructor ( Autocanon + bolters on side ).
-3 Tacs with flamer and meltas supported by either Rhino or Razorback ( with Lascannon if possible ).

Yeah that should be good.
2 predators with an autocannon and sponson lascannons should be able to put a dent in most armour you'll come up against.
The predator with the autocannon and heavy bolters will be capable of fighting hordes and light vehicles.
The tacs could use rhinos for manouvrability or razorbacks for extra fire support. Alternatively they could split into combat squads and do both.
You could also have a mix of rhinos and razorbacks. I'd suggest not glueing down the sponsons of the predator or the roofs on the rhino/razorback so they can be swapped out.
