There's the trailer. Google for it to get some of the news articles (websense at work forbids looking at stuff like eurogamer)

rumour is that due to SOE's current strategy of making most of the current MMOs into free-to-play MT-based games, it could be that Planetside 2 will be F2P. For me, this would be nice as the only thing that deterred me from the first game was the cost (i played during the reserves period).

at the moment, it is where it should be, exclusive to PC.
the SOE at the end is because it is published by SOE, same as the original Planetside. not that it will involve a PS3 anywhere.
