Beast lord- Biting Blade, Armor of Silver Steel, Luck stone- 205

Shaman- lvl 1 with beast- 75

wargor- bsb, heavy armor, enchanted sheild- 119

29 ungor- banner, musician- 154

19 ungor- banner, musician- 104

14 gor- banner, musician, extra hand weapon- 127

tuskgor chariot- 80

as of right now that leaves me with 56 points, but i cant decide on what i want to filnish it up. warmachine hunting harpies, flank protecting/unbreakable spawn, or another hard hitting creature like the razorgor. any suggestions would be appriciated and tips on how to better the list in any way are welcome.

One thing you have to do with Beastmen is hoard - units of at least 40. The fact is, Gors are pretty bad, and are only mediocre with the help of spells such as Wyssan's Wildform. For a thousand points, you're probably going a bit heavy on Lords/Heroes, a single Lord or Hero with a Battle Standard is sufficient. A Great Bray Shaman with Lore of Beasts would provide an excellent buff for the army, but I've always been very partial to Lore of Shadow. IMO all the spells except for Steed of Shadows are great, and even that can be swapped for Melkoth's Mystifying Miasma, a truly brilliant Signature Spell, which can either cripple enemy units' shooting, or their ability to strike first (or in High Elves' case, remove the re-rolls), increase you chances to hit (plus decreasing theirs), or slowing down powerful units so that you can take one unit on at a time. Obviously the other spells like Okkam's Mindrazor and so on are better, but not necassarily as useful (kind of contradictory, but you know what I mean). Also, rather than having Chariots, which are not as good as they once were, have a unit of Razorgors (use the extra points on these).

Horde of Gor will do you some good. You are lacking some sold hitting power. I would recommend you drop the shaman and beast lord for a greater bray shaman. With a level 1 you have access to 1 spell which means your opponent will be throwing all his dispel dice at it so chances are it's not going off unless you IF. Ungor are nice for a character bunker or anvil but they are basically on par with clan rats and goblins you aren't going to be winning many combats with them. Dump the chariots for 5pts more you can almost add in 2 razorgors and a 5 man harpy unit.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd
-Alexis de Tocqueville.
