Hello, new to the forums and new to 5th edition. I played years ago 2nd ed and remember Terminators getting 3+ rolled with 2d6. So now I am reading the codex and wargear lists and it looks as if they get a 2+ armor save then a 5+ Inv save.
Sooo.. then I am told that they get the armor sv or the inv save. But that is not how I interpreted the rules, so I came home and double and triple checked and I still think I was reading it correctly. Any help please?!?! Im pretty sure after further reading they get the armor in addition to the inv save..

Thanks, but where in the rulebook does it actualy say that you get a choice between the two depending on the tactical situation. I can't find that. Unless I am missing this rule somewhere, please direct me to the page where it declares you get 1 save choice.

I have AD&D 2nd edition stuff, tons literally. But my kids managed to get their hands on some 3.5 books, and then 4th ed D&D, which I do not like. But I Suck it up and DM them with the 4th edition rather than be the old man. lol
So you think the Rumours of 6th ed 40k are accurate?

Not really, to be honest with you.
2E AD&D is fun, and is still recognizable as AD&D.
3 and 3.5 less so, but still OK.
4th edition?
