Hm, computer wouldn't play last night, so try again....

First up, I wanted a tank transporter; built this before I read the scale, 1/24, so it's good for lifting a squadron in one go, if only I can find a tractor

Your picture isn't displaying properly. You need to right-click the image, "copy image address", and then paste that between the [img] tags. Like so. (I assume this is the transporter in question?)

Thanks for that, will try again. So, a trailer that turned out to be too big, even for 40k:[img]http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/246307-trailer1.html[img]

With a Russ on board to show how big:[img]http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/7/12/246308_sm-trailer2.JPG" border="0" />

I had an old diecast howitzer, too long to fit on a Basilisk chassis, but fitted a Russ after surgery, to make a Medusa siege gun. The Russ floor was the right size, but needed the "engine" moving; an open top body bodged together ( it's a field modification, after all), some vac-form tracks (Envisioncraft, via ebay), and a lick of paint. I'm claiming that fluff-wise it has variable geometry running gear, so that when firing the hull sits on the ground to absorb recoil; when moving, the body raises, the idlers move back changing the track geometry, and off it goes. Or not...

Type in ["img"] the image URL, then ["/img"] but without the quotation marks. Right now that just looks like a flatbed and there's not a whole lot I can comment on with it.

Or just go into the picture page in your personal gallery and copy all the text in the "Forums" text-box in the lower right area of the page, then paste that directly into the post you're writing.

Try seaching for these 1/35 is a lot closer in scale than 1/24 to 40k, they cost a fair bit mind.
