I think it was the winter of 2005/2006. Black shirt. Didn't like it, don't miss it.

lets keep this civil.

this is not a "I know more than you thread"

just simply a place for us to share stories and expeirences.

my experiences at GW were awesome. its really the staff you work with and your regulars that make it great, and it was!

My manager (nameless for now) was undoubtedly one of the most devout wargaming people I know today. he was MEGA fun to game with, his passion for the game was apparent, and he really put his heart into his work.

my fellow red shirts without a doubt made that one of the best jobs I've ever had in terms of enjoyment.

now GW corporate, well, they're a corporate entity trying to make money. can't really hate on that. its what they do.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
actually right now I am trying to work up a deal with one of my local shops to do kids b-day parties like we did back in the store.

I REALLY loved working with kids and I loved bringing people into the hobby and sharing in their first experience.

I worked for GW before they had shirt colours linked to rank. Mine was a Bad Moonz shirt and a Nurgle Tank top for summer. 1991-1993.

Man, that sounds much better the the generic uniforms they wear today.

Working Games Day was usually a laugh, and surprisingly lucrative!
