So this came up in a game and me and a buddy were a little confused so we ended up just rolling off. Here is the question.

If a fast skimmer moves flatout and is then shot down in the next players turn is it destroyed or does it just settle to the ground? we checked the main rule book and it states if it moved flatout in your last turn and is immoblized then it is destroyed. the FAQ states that anytime you see turn it means player turn. This is where it was a little confusing, can anyone please clear this up for us.

It moved flat out in its LAST turn. IE: The owner's turn.

It dies.

If you move flat out and are then wrecked in your opponents turn you are destroyed. Passengers may disembark.

If you move flat out and are wrecked in your player turn (immobilized on terrain or a blast weapon scatters onto your skimmer, etc etc) you are destroyed and passengers are unable to disembark and are removed too.

OK, if, during it's OWN turn, a skimmer moves flat out and is destroyed in it's own turn (difficult terrain, ram, Death or Glory, scattered blast, whatever) then it is destroyed and any embarked units are also destroyed. If it moves flat out and during the next players turn it suffers an immobilized result, then it is destroyed (wrecked).

When GW says turn they are referring to player turn, if they mean game turn they will say game turn, most of the time at least.
