This year's Heroes Of Armageddon project has only one week left to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. A lot of hobbyists contributed to this year's project and it's bigger than ever.

This Charity Project will be the largest one ever done in the modeling/gaming community. Four 3000 pt Armies will be built and given away and all the money will be given to Doctors Without Borders. We are proud to present to you: Heroes of Armageddon.

I just wanted to throw my two coppers in here to urge people to give what they can to the Heroes of Armageddon charity. Dave Taylor was gracious enough to allow me to paint up a unit for his build team (Commissariat Stormtrooper Squad), even though he didn't know me and really only had some e-mailed assurances that I wouldn't run off with his minis once he shipped them out to me I know times are tough, but even $5 gets you in the drawing to win one of four beautfiul armies painted by some of the best artists and best-known names in the hobby industry.

If you have given already, thank you very much. If you haven't given, please give what you can spare and know that every dime goes to a worthy cause.

A damned good cause with some amazing work thrown in by lots of people that obviously care about what happens around them. Serious respect to everyone that's taken the time and given so much to this fantastic project / event.

Thanks for the supportive comments and bumping this worthwhile cause to make it more visible. There definitely are a lot of cool models to be had and the cause is certainly a worthy one.

I built a couple of the models for the Steel Legion project. It was fun getting to contribute some effort to this amazing effort. Thanks again for checking it out and contributing what you can.
