I plan on building an army list with 10 Paladins and would like ideas for good load outs. I've also heard talk of wound mitigation tricks, i.e. equipping every model differently so they can all get one wound before any die. Is this worth the effort/points? I have one unit of older metal Termies and a box of new plastic ones, so I would have to do a little converting to equip them all differently.

The apothecary is very expensive. I can only imagine him being worth it if you played against venom spam who relied of poisoned shots to bring down the paladins. Of course in that one matchup (and possibly eldar str 6 spam) he would be a Godsend.

10 paladins, when I use that unit I go with:
1 MC halbeard
2 halbeard
3 MC sword
4, sword
5, warding stave
6 MC psycannon, hammer
7 MC psycannon, halbeard
8 MC psycannon, sword
9 MC Psycannon, banner
10 apo, halbeard

Here's another problem--- I'd have to buy 4 boxes of termies to get 4 psycannons!

You could convert psilencers to psycannons if you have some psycannons left over from the PAGK boxes.

I have 2 boxes of PAGK but I plan on using them as well :/ Bitzbarn it is! Automatically Appended Next Post: I guess GW used to sell a pack of 5 termie arms with psycannons, but not any more :(

I'm sorry, but this drives me a little nuts. What are you going to be shooting 4 psycannons at?!? 16 Str 7 rending shots?
I actually think that's a fine plan......if you're going to combat squad a unit. But that kinda gimps the apothecary. The apothecary is barely worth it at 10 men, and maybe still isn't, it's completely silly at 5.

I have to agree with the apothecary.... just doesn't seem worth it.
