This just came up the other day, and I didnt know the rule. If you have a squadron of 3 Basilisks, Do they all have to fire either directly or barrage, or can you have 1 fire directly and 2 fire barrage?
Basically, can you mix it up, especially since you can combine vehicles into a single squadron that do not have the same firing modes?

You can mix up firing methods as long as they fire upon the same target.

The decision to fire direct or barrage is decided on a per-vehicle basis so you can mix it.

Do note, when calculating a unit's cover save it is worked out per shot - you must treat each weapon firing from the squadron as if each weapon was a different model in the unit and use that to calculate the majority cover save.
