Hi guys. I've just finished my Space Wolves and I've decided to start collecting Tyranids, as I've always liked the look of them. I've decided to make more more of an effort with the painting for my second go, I really enjoy it and although my Wolves were ok, I believe I can do so much better! So I thought I'd start this blog just for fun, and I'll update it as my collection grows.

My colour scheme will be brown and green. I start by base coating with Dheneb Stone, then painting the armour Gretchin Green. I then wash the model with Ogryn Flesh to get that "Dirt" look. Finally, I highlight the armour using rotting flesh, mixed 50/50 and then 75/25 with the original colour.

That's all I have for now. I'm going to the store next weekend to buy one or two more boxes, plus the codex so I can start planning my army list, I'll post an update then. Any comments are appreciated
