I'm sure this design has probably been done before, but I'm just curious of what individuals think of this. Disregard the hair and dust that's on it lmao. Other than that it needs to be touched up a bit. What I used was boltgun metal and a scorpion green wash to fill in the ribs, and chaos black for the shoulders.. What I'm going to end up doing is going over it with a little bit more scorpion green to touch it up a bit. I still need to work on technique, such as getting the right consistency with the wash and painting in general. I've actually went through several designs and finally got the right one for me.

It looks like a necron, I'd give the whole thing minus the green bits a good washing of Badab Black to get some definition on the model.

Ok, thanks.. I will have to try that... Originally I had it painted with chainmail and was going to give it a black wash, but decided not to do that.

i might rather do a green wash? to suggest the metal glow..... of course theres issues with the parts that are farther away from the glow..

I like it a lot. If you're skilled with OSL then you might want to consider a bit of a glow around the green areas.
